I am 20, and my coworker who is talking about me is 50-something. She used to work in management for the company, but left and now I am in management.
All this weekend, she has been acting very distant from me. Today especially. I talked to a close coworker and she told me that this women had been saying mean stuff about me and making assumptions about me that were not true.
I am in quite the bundle. My main supervisor (we’ll call her Supervisor#1, she’s in her 40′s.) works an hour away from our office, while the supervisor below her (we’ll call her Supervisor#2, she’s in her mid-twenties) works directly with me. Supervisor#2 is very close with the coworker who is talking smack about me, so I called Supervisor#1 and let her know everything that is going on. She completely understands, because when my co-worker was in management she tried to get Supervisor#1 fired.
What I am wondering is..We are all meeting on Wednesday about what is going on. If my co-worker tries to talk to me tomorrow, what can I do to show her I am un-interested in conversating with her? It is very hard for me to just ignore someone..even if they have been rude to me. She and Supervisor#2 are not going to know about the meeting until Wednesday, because Supervisor#2 would probably say something to the coworker about it.
Supervisor#1 said she thinks it’s a big jealously issue, since I am in management, and since the coworker left, she does not have senority over me or the power anymore.
I don’t know what to do. Supervisor#2 is pretty “tell it how it is” while Supervisor#1 is soft hearted, like me. I have a feeling it will be hard working with Supervisor#2 after the meeting, since she is friends with this coworker. The coworker texts her all day and also emails frequently. Okay, my ex and I’ve been running circles around one another since we split up a few several weeks ago. She’s not encouraging. don’t misunderstand me she takes me towards the physician and stuff however i think she will it because she does not want to resemble a bad person and does not wish to hear everything from my grandmother. I am tired so tired. I do think in God and I’d rather not resent her due to my values however i realize I’m playing no choice. She puts me continue for everything. I have cried a lot of occasions I am tired. She just sits there and does nothing beats things will fix itself. But this time around I am done. It affects me a lot. Sometimes I seem like calling a social worker and coping with another mother. She’s never was up for me personally. I do not request my mother for ANYTHING. I am nothing like other kids that request for that world. I shoot for myself cause nobody is going to do it for me personally. She never learns me each time I attempt to speak to her she walks from, or go on the telephone, or begins a discussion with another person, or falls asleep while I am speaking to her. She has been doing that for a long time. Individuals have told my mother occasions before previously “pay attention to your kidsInch, but I am a nobody to her. After I gave my mother one further chance(which she lately blew) which i will turn my back on her behalf rather than return. I usually let her know you’ll be sorry. your passing up on me.
